You may have recently read the article by the Texas Association of Realtors about email/text message legal disclaimers. Great information but leaves it up to you to determine what to say. In today’s litigious society, people may try to claim they had a contract with you based off of email/text messages. Here’s example text you can use as is or modify as necessary to avoid a binding contract.
